AFTER SCHOOL
Purpose
Through the AFTER SCHOOL program, working parents rely on THE MINT Foundation to assist with pick-up from school, homework help, and feeding their children. The after-school enrichment program provides a safe haven for children during the school year after the school day. Students are fed a nutritious meal after school and receive homework help. Students in our after-school program have shown grade improvements and a reduction in behavioral incidents during the school year.
Background
The MINT After School Program seeks to enhance students’ lives within a safe, fun, nurturing environment that promotes community by providing a comprehensive after school program.
