Tutoring for DeSoto Students

DeSoto ISD in partnership with the City of DeSoto is committed to providing essential tutoring opportunities to its school community and residents. Registration for tutoring for grades 3-5 is now open.

National Drug Takeback Day

On Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. the Desoto Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give DeSoto residents the opportunity to prevent prescription medication abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted medications. Please bring your medications for disposal to DeSoto Police headquarters at 714 E. Beltline Road, DeSoto, TX 75115. The service is free, anonymous, and no questions asked.

DeSoto ISD is committed to ensuring that students, without exception, learn and grow at their highest levels. DeSoto ISD is excited to offer Child Find services for students in its system. The purpose of Child Find is to locate, identify, and evaluate children from birth to 21 years of age and their possible need for special education and related services. Child Find is a free referral and information service available through local education agencies.
