Christmas Coat/Toy Drive

Help make someone's holiday a little warmer and  brighter. Donate new and unwrapped coats and toys for children in our community. All collected items will support Chocolate MINT's annual holiday giving event--Christmas Candyland to be held on Dec. 18. Drop off donated items at district campuses or at the DeSoto ISD Instructional Support Center located at 200 E. Belt Line Road in DeSoto.  For more info, call 972-223-6666.

Under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021 and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, FEMA is providing financial assistance for COVID-19 related funeral expenses incurred after January 20, 2020. Call 844-684-6333 to get a COVID-19 Funeral Assistance application completed with help from FEMA's representatives. Multilingual services will be available.

DeSoto ISD in partnership with the City of DeSoto is committed to providing essential tutoring opportunities to its school community and residents. Registration for tutoring for grades 3-5 is now open.

DeSoto ISD Child Find

DeSoto ISD is committed to ensuring that students, without exception, learn and grow at their highest levels. DeSoto ISD is excited to offer Child Find services for students in its system. The purpose of Child Find is to locate, identify, and evaluate children from birth to 21 years of age and their possible need for special education and related services. Child Find is a free referral and information service available through local education agencies.
