To provide low income youth with the opportunity to learn life skills, enhance their financial knowledge, and support their pursuit of a college degree or long-term employment through curriculum based training.
I joined The Chocolate MINT team when I was a freshman in high school in 2010. I was in trouble for truancy. Having to attend the MINT was an obligation at first, but shortly turned into a passion. I enjoyed giving back to my community that is underserved. They saw the leadership skills in me that I didn’t even know I had. They pushed me to become a better leader. The Chocolate MINT Foundation is more than just about serving others, it is a place that mentors youth. They instilled in me the importance of serving the less fortunate. I’m thankful for the relationship and being a part of the alumni group.
